- Each year, the Birmingham Barons do a throwback game, and they do so sporting uniforms from a particular time period in Baron’s history. This year, the Barons and the Montgomery Biscuits will celebrate the first-ever game played at Rickwood Field, which was on August 18, 1910, between the Birmingham Coal Barons and the Montgomery Climbers.
